Mobile Auto Glass in Phoenix
Phoenix spreads across more than five hundred square miles. Driving a damaged windshield from Ahwatukee up to a glass shop and back can swallow an afternoon, and that is before you sit in a lobby waiting on adhesive to cure. We built the whole operation around not making you do that.
OnTrack Auto Glass is a family run shop with twelve years behind it. The van comes to your house, your office lot, the school pickup line or wherever the car is already sitting. A full windshield replacement takes one to two hours from the moment we arrive. A chip repair is usually finished in under thirty minutes.
None of it carries a distance premium. A job off Bell Road in Deer Valley is quoted exactly the way a job three blocks from our own door is quoted, because the drive is already inside the number you get on the phone. Whatever we quote is what you pay when we pack the van.
Being small has one real advantage. The person who answers the phone is usually the person who ends up standing next to your car, so when you ask whether a chip near the edge of the glass will hold, you get a straight answer instead of a script.
Competitive out of pocket pricing if you would rather not file a claim.
Freeways, Gravel and Construction
Hardly anyone breaks a windshield sitting still. In Phoenix the damage almost always traces back to a specific stretch of road, and after enough of these calls you start recognizing the story in the first thirty seconds.
The Interstate 10 and Interstate 17 interchange northwest of downtown, the one everybody just calls the Stack, funnels a staggering amount of traffic through a small footprint. South and east of it, the run through the Deck Park Tunnel and out toward the Broadway Curve sits on one of the widest freeway segments anywhere in the country. When a truck two lanes over throws a rock, physics does the rest.
Whatever caused it, the fix starts with the same short conversation. Describe where the damage sits on the glass and we can usually tell you on the spot whether you are looking at a chip repair or a full windshield replacement.
Repair or Replace
Every glass shop quotes the same rule of thumb, so here is the honest version of it, including the two situations where the size of the damage stops being the deciding factor.
3 inches
Repair Threshold
Damage shorter than roughly three inches can normally be repaired rather than replaced.
30 minutes
Chip Repair
Most chip repairs are filled, cured and finished in less than half an hour.
1 to 2 hours
Full Replacement
From the moment we arrive to the moment the trim goes back on the car.
Under three inches, a repair usually holds. Past that, resin cannot restore enough strength and replacement is the right call. Two exceptions override the tape measure entirely.
There is a legal side to this as well. In Arizona, damage that obstructs the driver clear view is something you can be cited for, and a crack sitting across your sight line while you crawl through a construction zone is exactly what an officer notices. Past the ticket, the windshield is structural. It braces the roof in a rollover and it is the backstop the passenger airbag pushes against.
Book a full replacement with us and chip repair on any other damaged pane is included at no charge.
Every Pane on the Vehicle
Front windshields are most of the work, but nowhere near all of it. Side and rear glass breaks differently, gets set differently and gets cleaned up differently.
Full removal and reset with proper adhesive, plus a cure time we tell you honestly before you drive off.
Windshield replacement detailsResin injected into the break to stop it spreading and pull strength back into the glass, usually inside thirty minutes.
How chip repair worksTempered glass shatters into thousands of pieces. Vacuuming the door cavity and the seat rails is part of the job, not an extra.
Car window replacementThe small fixed panes behind the doors are model specific and easy to overlook. We source them and set them properly.
All auto glass servicesRear glass carries the defroster grid and takes a different approach than a windshield. Careful cleanup matters even more here.

Phoenix is really fifteen urban villages wearing one name, and each corner of it asks something slightly different of a mobile crew.
Deer Valley, Norterra, Desert Ridge, Moon Valley and everything hanging off the Loop 101. This is rock chip country, mostly thanks to the Interstate 17 commute and the freight that never stops moving through it. Driveways up here are wide, and shade is usually a matter of pulling forward twenty feet.
Downtown, the Roosevelt Row arts blocks, Midtown, Encanto, Arcadia and the office towers along the Camelback Corridor. Street parking and garages take a little planning, so tell us which level you are on and whether there is a clearance limit. We work around covered parking constantly.
Ahwatukee Foothills tucked below South Mountain Park, plus Laveen, Maryvale, the Estrella village and the streets feeding into Sky Harbor. The run out here from our Buckeye shop is a straight shot, which is part of why we have never charged a distance premium for it.
Our workmanship carries a limited lifetime warranty. If a wind noise turns up two months later, or water finds a way past a seal during the first real monsoon storm, we come back out and make it right. That promise does not shrink because you live on the far side of the city. There is more on how we handle it over on our service area page.
We cover the rest of the valley too. Take a look at Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale and Buckeye.
Claims Without the Runaround
Most people put off a glass claim because they picture a long hold and a stack of questions they cannot answer. We take that part off your hands by staying on the phone with you.
Year, make and model, which pane, and roughly where the damage sits. A photo helps. That is enough for us to know which glass to pull and what the job costs.
Three way, with you, us and your insurance company. You are there to confirm you are the policyholder. We handle every part of the conversation that is about glass.
No portal, no callback, no wondering whether it went through. You know your deductible and your approval before the call ends.
Give us an address and a window. We arrive with the right glass, do the work where the car is already parked, and clean up after ourselves before we leave.
If you carry comprehensive, auto glass is very likely covered, and plenty of policies cover chip repair outright with no deductible at all. It is worth ten minutes to find out. See how we handle claims.
Plenty of our Phoenix customers pay out of pocket, and our pricing is built to be competitive for exactly that. The quote you get on the phone is the final price, with no trip charge bolted on at the end.
Straight Answers
If your question is not here, call and ask. You will get a person who does this work, not a call center reading from a card.
All of it. We run from Ahwatukee and Laveen in the south, through Maryvale, Arcadia and the Camelback Corridor, and out to Deer Valley and Desert Ridge in the north. Mobile service is free everywhere in the city, so your address does not change the price.
Yes, and we do it often around downtown and the Camelback Corridor. We need the car parked in one spot for the whole appointment and enough room to walk all the way around it. Tell us the garage level and any clearance limit when you book and we will plan for it.
One to two hours for most vehicles, measured from when we arrive to when the trim goes back on. Chip repair is much quicker, normally under thirty minutes. We will also tell you how long to let the adhesive set before you drive.
If the damage is under about three inches and it is not in the driver line of sight or right at the edge of the glass, a repair will usually hold. Bigger than that, or sitting in either of those two places, and replacement is the honest answer rather than the expensive one.
Damage that obstructs the driver clear view can get you cited in Arizona, and a crack across your sight line counts. There is a safety side as well, since the windshield braces the roof in a rollover and backs up the passenger airbag.
We work with any carrier. If you have comprehensive coverage, glass is usually covered, and plenty of policies cover chip repair with no deductible. We get on a three way call with you and your insurer so the claim is filed correctly the first time.
Then you pay out of pocket, and our pricing is competitive. Ask for the number on the first call. What we quote is what you pay, with nothing added on the day and no charge for the drive.
Yes. Back glass, door glass, quarter glass and vent glass are all part of what we do. Side and rear glass is tempered, so it shatters into small pieces, and clearing those out of the door cavity and the seats is included in the job.

Serving Every Corner of Phoenix
One call gets you a firm quote, a time window and a technician who shows up with the right glass for your vehicle. There is no trip charge anywhere in the city, and the number we give you on the phone is the number you pay.
